I was born in Camp Pendleton, California in October 1994. My childhood was fraught with medical problems, some of which involved a blood transfusion, a splenectomy, and a large number of CAT scans.
My family moved from California to Arizona in the summer of 2005. I consider Yuma, AZ my hometown. I went to Kofa High School, where I became the Drum Major of the King's Regiment. I also began to train horses and compete in the Yuma Barrel Racing Association. In the fall of 2012, I moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming to attend Laramie County Community College. I became a Mass Media major and joined the staff of the student newspaper Wingspan, of which I eventually became Co-editor. While on staff, I met my husband, Dan. He was the online editor and we were married 3/8/2014 in the newsroom by my co-editor. We happily live in Cheyenne in an apartment with our dog, Izzy, and two birds. Dan is a manager at Petco, which he enjoys immensely. I am the Digital Media Director for Montgomery Broadcasting. I am now attending Penn State World Campus as a full-time student. |
